Most of you BlackBerry users would have suffered a massive outage last week. This sudden and unexpected outage had spanned over the better part of 3 continents; Europe, Middle East, Africa and even parts of Asia. This had turned out to be a major embarrassment for the company, which announced that a major technical problem in one of RIM’s data centers in Slough, near London, was what sparked off the entire episode.

The iPhone 4S combines some of the best materials in the industry with what is arguably the finest smartphone design on the planet — you don’t even need to see or hold one to know that. Why? Because it’s basically identical to the original iPhone 4 that launched last year in June.

It appears that RIM’s most popular line of BlackBerry smartphones is about to get a new addition! This device, codenamed “Apollo”, will be an awesome addition to the Curve family, especially if the specs reported this morning are true. Packing in a 480 x 360 screen, 5-megapixel camera, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, a tri-band HSPA 7.2Mbps radio, and NFC capability, this device is sure to please those of you out there that love the Curve form-factor but feel the latest offerings leave something (a lot) to be desired.
